Women in Bangladesh have been suffering from different types of cancers. Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer occurring in women and men. 

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) are on their way to introducing cervical-breast cancer screening facility in all upazilas of 64 districts of the country. An effective referral system will be established for cervical-breast cancer screening, management and follow-up to reduce maternal mortality across the country.

Women in Bangladesh have been suffering from different types of cancers, one of the leading causes of death in Bangladesh at present, more than men.

Aiming to raise awareness on cervical cancer among youths, Project CCAP organized a workshop titled ‘Cervical Cancer Awareness’ in Dhanmondi’s EMK Center at 4:00 pm on January 25.
