How to start your morning right

We are often amazed at the amount of work that successful people do in a day without skipping a beat. One of the secrets behind their cheerful attitude is how they start the day with an effective morning routine.

With that in mind, let’s learn the six-morning habits of successful believers to start our day with a bang.

Planning for the day before

Perhaps one of the most neglected habits that stress the morning is not planning the next day before going to bed the night before. Starting the day with a well-established and well-planned plan helps us stay focused and productive with much less effort.

Get up for Tahajjud

Waking up for Tahajjud brings us closer to the Almighty and improves our mental health. It also gives us enough time to reconstruct our thoughts and plans, asking Allah for his guidance in everything we do.

Remembrance of Allah before praying Fajr

After Tahajjud, spending time connecting with Allah through various forms of adhkar is to recharge our souls before starting the day’s work. Besides, praying to Fajr gives us a green signal to start our daily work, knowing that we are under Allah’s protection until the time we pray to Zuhr.

Make time for exercise

Morning exercises help to keep you active both physically and mentally for the rest of the day and give you the right attitude for your day’s work. Maintaining physical health is essential for keeping multiple illnesses away and leading a healthy life.

Take a shower

Cleanliness is half of our Iman. Islam consistently emphasizes maintaining our personal hygiene. Therefore, taking a shower after a workout and before starting the day will help us to fulfill the responsibility.

Have a healthy breakfast

Breakfast is the most vital meal of the day. Breakfast gives us the mental support and physical energy to start our day right. Therefore, it is important to make ‘having a healthy breakfast’ a regular habit and make it part of your morning routine.
