How to boost your productivity in Ramadan

During Ramadan, Muslims have to refrain from eating and drinking during times of fasting. Food and drinks rejuvenate us and are an important source of energy.

However, our routine changes completely during this holy month. So, it’s important to know some tips and tricks to get through without losing focus.

Spend time in Ibadaah

It may sound difficult, but being busy with Ibadaah is one of the easiest ways to stay productive. Focusing less on what you can’t do while fasting and focusing on the task at hand makes it much easier to focus and do the actual work. By indulging in the Dikhar after Sehri and reciting the Quran, you can focus on the essence of Ramadan and refresh your work all day long. Sleeping immediately after Sehri turns out to be generally counter-productive.

Eat right

If you are one of those who cannot go without food for a long time, it is important to plan your Sehri and Iftar diet. Focus on high-energy foods that contain all the protein, carbohydrates and vitamins you need, not overeating. Especially salty foods should be concealed to avoid being too thirsty. Eat light food during Iftar so that you don’t get lazy or get in the way of your work and in your Ibadaah.

Plan your days

An important step in maximizing productivity is daily planning. Therefore, it is very important to create a new routine specifically for this month, as Ramadan needs to reset the routine from the previous routine. Plan ahead of time what you want to achieve during the day, rather than counting minutes and hours each day. No matter how small, setting goals can be very helpful. Read the Quran after Sehri, take a break after work, exercise before and after Iftar, and don’t miss your prayers. If you have a little more time, day or night, remember the Almighty more.

Exercise

Exercise during Ramadan seems active, especially if you already feel that you are running out of energy. But that’s actually a great thing about exercise. It rejuvenates you. Make time to exercise throughout the month, before or after Iftar. This not only gives you more energy but also allows you to focus on your work. If you feel tired during the day, it is important to take a short walk during work. It gives you a break and allows you to refocus. You can also keep your face fresh all day by washing your face regularly.

More dedicated to helping others

Give plenty of Sadaqah, no matter how short the daytime. Join a charity and organize Iftar for those in need. Helping others not only makes you happy but also pleases Allah Almighty, which empowers us to do what we are asked to do during the day.

The spirit of Ramadan is to do more than all year round. This month, you’ll learn to focus on your goals and pay attention to the little tips and tricks that will help you feel full of energy and always feel unobtrusive.
