US-Bangla to Operate Special Flight to Abu Dhabi

US-Bangla Airlines has undertaken a humanitarian initiative to support Bangladeshi nationals stranded in the United Arab Emirates amid the ongoing Middle East crisis. The airline will operate a special flight on the Dhaka–Chattogram-Abu Dhabi-Dhaka route to facilitate the safe return of affected passengers.

Today’s special flight will depart from Dhaka for Abu Dhabi via Chattogram on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 6:35 PM (BST) and from Chattogram for Abu Dhabi at 8:20pm. The return flight will depart from Abu Dhabi at on Thursday, March 4, 2026 at 1:00 AM (local time) for Dhaka.

The service will be operated using a 189-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft, ensuring sufficient capacity to accommodate passengers requiring urgent travel. The flight numbers are: BS-349 (Dhaka/Chattogram to Abu Dhabi) and BS-350 (Abu Dhabi to Dhaka)

The Abu Dhabi Airport Authority has granted special permission to US-Bangla Airlines, along with other international carriers to operate these humanitarian flights considering the prevailing situation.

It is worth mentioning here that 28 flight crew members of the national airline Biman Bangladesh Airlines have been stranded in various destinations in the United Arab Emirates since February 28, 2026 due to the war situation. US-Bangla Airlines has also taken the initiative to bring them back to the country on a special Dubai-Dhaka flight on 4 March 2026, Flight number BS-342.

Priority will be given to Bangladeshi nationals whose visas have expired or are nearing expiration, ensuring timely repatriation and relief for those facing uncertainty abroad.
