Talks between Ukraine and Russia have started on Monday at the Belarussian border for the first time since Moscow’s invasion, reports Reuters citing Ukrainian presidential advisor Mykhailo Podolyak.

Russia and Belarus launched joint military drills on Thursday despite concerns in Western countries that Moscow is plotting a major escalation of the conflict in Ukraine.

Hundreds of migrants camped out near the Belarusian border with Poland in freezing overnight temperatures, as Polish authorities braced on Tuesday for further clashes with people attempting to breach the frontier.
