Messi celebrates 768th game with two goals

Lionel Messi has celebrated his record-breaking 768th appearance for Barcelona with two goals and one assist as the Spanish giants beat Real Sociedad 6-1 on Sunday night.
The 33-year-old Argentina forward set the milestone after tying former midfielder Xavi on 767 appearances in last week’s 4-1 win over Huesca.
Antoine Griezmann opened the scoring for Barcelona while Sergino Dest scored twice and Ousmane Dembele also found the net. Ander Barrenetxea scored the only goal for Sociedad.

With these two goals in Sunday’s match, Messi has now scored 23 league goals so far this season.
Messi is now Barca’s all-time leader in games played (768), goals scored (663), assists (287), and titles won (34).
