New Zealand posted 141-4 in 10 overs as both of the openers have blasted from the very beginning of the innings in the third and final T20I at Eden Park in Auckland on Thursday.
Martin Guptill scored 44 off just 19 with the help of one four and five sixes while Finn Allen made 71 off just 29. He was more destructive than any other Kiwi batsmen as he blasted 10 fours and 3 sixes.
The match has been reduced to 10-over-a-side forced by a long delay due to the rain. The powerplay has been reduced to three overs and each bowler can bowl two overs maximum.
For Bangladesh, Shoriful Islam, Taskin Ahmed, and Mahedi Hasan picked up a wicket for each. Mahedi, the most expensive bowler of the side conceded 34 while Rubel Hossain goes for 33 in two overs.
Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first. Liton Das is the captain of the Bangladesh side as regular T20I skipper Mahmudullah Riyad ruled out of the game due to a strained left thigh.
Bangladesh made three changes in the squad while New Zealand made two. Saifuddin, Mithun, and injured Mahmudullah have been replaced by Shanto, Mosaddek, and Rubel.
New Zealand have already won the T20I series by winning the first two matches of the series followed by the ODI series win.
