BCB announces T20 World Cup squad

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.
BCB selectors announced the squad for T20 World Cup in a press conference at Sher E Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Thursday.
No surprise in the squad as all the members in the squad are currently part of the ongoing New Zealand series.
No Tamim Iqbal for Bangladesh this time as he himself made himself unavailable for the T20 World Cup on September 1.
The World Cup will begin on October 17 with the final on November 14.
Bangladesh who were drawn in Group B along with co-hosts Oman, Scotland and Papua New Guinea, would have to play first round to make them available for the Super 12s.
Bangladesh’s WC Squad: Mahmudullah Riyad (c), Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Soumya Sarkar, Liton Kumar Das, Naim Sheikh, Afif Hossain Dhrubo, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Shamim Hossain Patwary, Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, Mohammad Saifuddin, Shoriful Islam, Sheikh Mahedi Hasan, Nasum Ahmed.
