What does the Holy Quran say about Iman?

The truth is that we all experience the ups and downs of Iman at some point in our lives. But most importantly, remember that Allah does not always expect us to be perfect. In fact, He wants us to do our best.

Striving to be a better Muslim by making small changes in our lives is a result in itself. So, when we see our Iman weakening, let’s start by taking these four small steps that bring us closer to Almighty Allah, as defined in the Holy Quran.

Believe in Allah’s mercy

Meaning: Allah is the Protector of the believers. He leads them from darkness to light. As for the unbelievers, their guardians are false Gods who lead them from light to darkness. They will be fire dwellers. You will be there forever. Surah Al-Baqarah: 257

Pray

Meaning: And perform prayer and give Zakat and bow with those who bow in worship and compliance. Surah Al-Baqarah: 43

Make Dua

Meaning: And your Lord says, “Call Me and I will answer to you.” Surah Ghafir: 60

Give Charity

Meaning: Those who spend their wealth secretly and openly in the way of Allah, day or night, will reward the Lord. And fear does not touch them, nor do they grieve. Surah Al-Baqarah: 274
