Dua for calamity

As the coronavirus pandemic brings great suffering to millions of people around the world.

We place our lives in the hands of Almighty Allah and perform a dua for our safety, asking Him to rid us of the trouble. The designated dua for seeking calamity:

إِنَّا لِلهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ ، اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي ، وَاخْلُفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا

innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaji‛oon, allaahumma’ jurnee fee muṣeebatee, wakhluf lee khayran minhaa

Meaning: To Allah we belong and unto Him is our return. O Allah, reward me for my affliction and substitute it for me with something better.
