Dua for your parents

Parents are the blessings of our Almighty Allah. Our life is just like an empty ship having no driver without our parents. If we have both mother and father in our lives, our lives seem complete but without them, we are not complete.

The love of our parents is the only love that is unconditional, reliable and easy to understand. We don’t need to achieve the love of parents because the love of parents will automatically come to our hearts. Our parents play an important role in our lives.

Dua 1

رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

Rabbi irhamhuma kama rabbayani sagheera

Meaning: My Lord, have mercy upon them (parents) as they brought me up [when I was] small.

Dua 2

رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْنِى مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِى رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَآءِ

Rabbi ij’alni muqima l-ṣalati wamin dhurriyyati rabbana wataqabbal duai

Meaning: Make me and those believers of my posterity keep up prayer. My Lord! Accept my prayers.
