What is Laylat al-Qadr, the holiest night in Ramadan?

Laylat al-Qadr, otherwise known as the night of power, is considered to be the Islamic calendar’s Holiest eve. This is a night of fantastic commemoration and devotion to Allah and places higher than that of 1,000 months.
The exact date of Laylat al-Qadr is not specified, but it is believed to occur on one of the last 10 days of the month of Ramadan. Many Muslims consider it the night of the 27th day of Ramadan or one of the odd-numbered nights of the last 10 days of the month.
As no one knows exactly which night marks Laylat-al-Qadr, most Muslims observe the last 10 nights of Ramadan by praying more and reading the Holy Quran.
The night commemorating the first revelation to the great Prophet Muhammad. According to Islamic tradition, the prophet used to retreat for a month every year to the Hira cave, which is located on a mountain outside the city of Mecca.
It is believed that one night the Angel Gabriel visited the prophet in the cave and inspired him to recite the first verses of the Quran that would be revealed to him. After that night, the Prophet is said to have continued to receive revelations from the Quran for a period of 23 years.
Every year, this night sees hundreds of thousands of Muslims flock to mosques to attend congregational prayers.

Performing these actions on the holiest night and spending the day in worship will prolong your time. Remember to read the Holy Quran and engage in it.
