Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam on Monday said that the government has set the office time for the upcoming Ramadan from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm for all government, semi-government, autonomous, and semi-autonomous organizations.

Such a decision has been made at a regular Cabinet meeting on Monday, with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

For Zuhr prayers, there will be a break from 1:15 pm to 1:30 pm in Ramadan, said Cabinet Secretary.

The weekly holidays will be as usual on Friday and Saturday, he added.

As per a press release of the Islamic Foundation, the holy month of Ramadan is expected to start on April 14.
