7.2-magnitude earthquake jolts Japan

A 7.2-magnitude earthquake hit the waters off the east coast of Japan’s Honshu island on Saturday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

However, no casualties have been reported so far.

The country’s state-run broadcaster, the NHK, has warned people along the Honshu coast that a one-meter-high tsunami is feared in Miyagi Prefecture.
