Bangabandhu a ‘hero for all Indians’: Modi

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid homage to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on his birth anniversary by saying, “Bangabandhu is a hero for all Indians too.”
Narendra Modi also described Bangabandhu as ‘a champion of human rights and freedom’ in a Twitter post.
In his Twitter handle, he said, “My heartfelt homage to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a champion of human rights and freedom, on his birth anniversary. He is a hero for all Indians too. It will be my honor to visit Bangladesh later this month for the historic #MujibBorsho celebrations.”

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Dhaka on March 26 to join the celebrations of the golden jubilee of the country’s independence and the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
