Khulna records 27 more COVID-19 deaths

Khulna division have recorded 27 more deaths and 998 infections in the last 24 hours on Tuesday.

Divisional Health Director Dr. Rasheda Sultana said that 27 more daily fatalities were reported in seven districts of the division, raising the death toll to 864.

Among the new fatalities, nine are the residents of Khulna, five from Kushtia, four each from Bagerhat and Jessore, three from Narail and two from Meherpur.

A total of 998 more people have also tested positive for coronavirus in all 10 districts of the division during the 24 hour period, climbing the number of infected patients to 46,975.

However, 945 daily cases were reported in the Khulna division on the previous day.
