Barrister Moudud’s body to arrive on Thursday

The body of deceased Barrister Moudud Ahmed, a member of the national standing committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), will be brought to Bangladesh on Thursday.
The body will be kept in the cold storage of United Hospital and the veteran BNP leader will be buried in Noakhali next to his parents’ grave in Companiganj of Noakhali on Friday.
BNP chairperson’s press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the information to Dhaka Post.
The permission had been sought in Parliament for his namaj-e-janaza. If they granted permission, the first namaj-e-janaza will be held on the Parliament premises on Friday.
Then the second janaza will be held in front of the BNP central office in Naya Paltan.
Earlier, Barrister Moudud Ahmed died at 80 on Tuesday while receiving treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.
He was elected parliament member five times from Noakhali-1 and Noakhali-5 constituencies.
