RAB arrested ‘Shishu Bokta’ Rafiqul from Netrakona

Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested Rafiqul Islam Madani, popularly known as ‘Shishu Bokta’ from Netrokona on charges of making provocative remarks against the state and creating chaos.
Imran Khan, assistant director of RAB’s legal and media wing, confirmed the information to Dhaka Post on Wednesday.
Earlier on March 25, Rafiqul Islam Madani was taken into police custody from an anti-Modi procession of the Students and Youth Rights Council at Motijheel in the capital. He was, however, later released.
On the day of the arrival of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a procession of students and youth rights council led by former VP of Daksh Nurul Haque Nur started at around 11:30 am. More than five hundred leaders and activists were present there.
