No restrictions after February 22

The ongoing restrictions across the country will be lifted after February 22, Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam said. 

He made the disclosure at the media briefing after a cabinet meeting at the secretariat on Sunday.

The government imposed nationwide restrictions on public movement on January 10 after the surge of coronavirus cases.

The restrictions were later extended till February 21 midnight.

No public gatherings of over 100 people will be allowed for any social, religious or political events, under the restrictions.
