Two killed in Cox’s Bazar pickup-autorickshaw collision

Two people were killed in a head-on collision between an NGO’s mini pickup and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at the Marine Drive road in Cox’s Bazar around 10:00 am on Thursday.

Two deceased were the passengers of the auto-rickshaw.

Besides, two more people were injured in the incident. The injured have been taken to the Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital.

The names of the deceased were not immediately been identified, said Hafizur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Teknaf Model Police Station.

Rescue operations are still underway in the spot, he added.
