Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique and his wife have been admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (BSMMU) on Wednesday night after tested positive for coronavirus.
Both are now undergoing treatment at VIP cabins of the BSMMU.
The hospital sources confirmed that both the chief justice and his wife were in good health. A medical board will meet on Thursday noon.
Meanwhile, the trial on Thursday is being held under M Nuruzzaman Nani, senior judge of the Appellate Division.
Notably, Attorney General AM Amin Uddin has also been infected with the coronavirus. He is in isolation at home.
