Bus runs over two pedestrians in Gulistan

Two people were killed after a Meghla Paribahan bus ran over them at Gulistan in the capital.

The incident took place near the toll plaza of the Mayor Hanif Flyover at Gulistan on Saturday morning.

Mashiur Rahman, Traffic Inspector of Motijheel area, told Dhaka Post, “The incident was reported around 9:30 am this morning. Both of the deceased were the pedestrians and the victims are yet to be identified.”

Police seized the Meghla Paribahan bus. However, the driver and the helper of the bus fled away.

At least 10 passengers of the bus were also injured. Notably, the injured are out of danger.
