Fire breaks out at ‘Rahat tower’ in Banglamotor

A fire broke out on the 11th floor of Rahat Tower in the capital’s Banglamotor.

The fire broke out at 11:04 am on Thursday, said Rozina Akhter, a duty officer at the fire service’s control room.

On information, eleven units of the fire service are working to bring the fire under control.

The reason behind the fire and the extent of damage are not yet to be known.

However, no casualties were reported so far, she added.

Notably, a sub-office of Jamuna Television is located on the floor.
