The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on December 30.
Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni on Tuesday made the disclosure while talking to the media.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the distribution of free textbooks for the next academic year on December 30. On the same day, she will announce the results of SSC and equivalent examinations.
Around 22 lakh candidates participated in the SSC, and equivalent exams this year.
This year’s exams were held under special rules, including reduced exam time, shortened syllabus and precautionary measures for the students’ safety against the coronavirus infection.
Earlier, the Education Board had fixed December 27 to publish the results. However, the board finally decided to publish the result on December 30 as the Prime Minister returned home from the Maldives yesterday.
Students will be able to know the results through the website and SMS after the inauguration of the program on that day.
