Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport & Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
He received the vaccine at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in the capital on Wednesday morning.
According to the Health Department, a total of 5,319,679 people have been vaccinated so far in the national vaccination program across the country.
