Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has been taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) after he fell sick on Tuesday morning.
BSMMU Director Brigadier General Dr. Md Nazrul Islam Khan confirmed this information to Dhaka Post.
Awami League Office Secretary Biplob Barua said that Obaidul Quader was admitted to Bangabandhu Medical University this morning due to mild physical illness and some regular checkups.
He requested the people to pray for his recovery and not to rush to the hospital unnecessarily.
At the same time, the authorities of the hospital have strongly urged all not to go to the hospital.
