Students stage protests showing ‘red cards’

Students from various schools and colleges again started movement demanding safe roads and against the ongoing mismanagement on the roads.

This time they took to the streets with ‘red cards’ in their hands against road mismanagement and corruption.

Students formed a peaceful human chain on the Rampura Bridge at around 11:00 am on Saturday.

Khilgaon Model College student Sohagi Samia, an HSC examinee, said, “We are showing the red card to the authorities against the corruption and wrongdoing that has taken place in this sector of the country.”

The student of the country will never accept corruption in any sector in this country. So we are showing red cards against all irregularities and corruption happening right now, she added.

Earlier, students raised 11-point demands on December 1.

Students said that their protests will continue until the demands are met.
