Another 5 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine reach Dhaka

Another consignment of five million doses of the Chinese Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine arrived in Dhaka.

An aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the consignment landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 12:45 am on Saturday.

Dr. Abu Zaher, Chief Health Coordinator, received the consignment at the airport.

Earlier, the flight had left Tianjin Binhai International Airport on Friday night.

With the new consignment, Bangladesh has so far received around 25 million doses of the Sinopharm vaccine from China.
