His best actor victory at Sunday’s Oscars was a big surprise for all the spectators.
Hopkins win was considered a bit of an upset as the best actor award had been widely expected to go to Chadwick Boseman for his final performance in ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom’.
This is the second Oscar for Anthony Hopkins. He previously won for his iconic turn in ‘The Silence of the Lambs’.
