Popular director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki has tested positive for coronavirus.
He took to Facebook to announce the matter on Saturday.
In a Facebook post, he wrote, “Positive! Even after following all safety measures strictly! So everyone please take care and keep your spirit high!”
However, his wife actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha tested negative for the coronavirus.

Nusrat Imrose Tisha said, “Farooki is in a good shape. He has no health complications after tested positive. Following the doctor’s advice, he is in isolation at his residence.”
Farooki said that he received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on July 26. But being inoculated doesn’t mean one is protected against the deadly virus.
As a result, he requested everyone to abide by the health guidelines and stay at home.
