Actor Amir Siraji has been taken to life support at a hospital in Rampura.
The actor was admitted to the hospital at around 7:30 pm on Friday.
Zayed Khan, general secretary of the Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association, confirmed the matter in a Facebook post.
In the Facebook post, he wrote, “Popular actor and respected member of Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association Amir Siraji bhai has been put on life support due to breathing complications.”
Zayed Khan asked everyone to pray for his quick recovery.
Amir Siraji made his debut on the silver screen with the movie ‘Radha Krishna’ in 1985.
Throughout his long acting career, the prominent actor has worked in 700 movies.
