Renowned Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah is set to star in Dhaliwood movie as he signed an exciting Bangladeshi science fiction film named ‘Project Ommi’.
Amit Ashraf, the director of the film, confirmed the matter.
As per the director, Naseeruddin Shah will be seen in an important role in the film. He has already signed a contract.
In this context, Amit Ashraf said, “He liked the story and characters of the film very much. He has already confirmed the schedule of the shooting.”
We are planning to start shooting in the next year. The rest of the artists will be finalized in the meantime as auditions are currently underway to select the artists, he added.
It is learned that the story of the film ‘Project Ommi’ has narrated a story of the year 2050 where a hacker and a digital artist invented a Virtual Artificial Intelligence (AI) robot named Ommi.
The film will be produced by Kazi Productions House of Bangladesh. Besides, British producer Jenny Walker, who produced a number of productions, including documentaries, for the BBC and Channel Four, has also joined the film.
