Celebrated Indian actor Aamir Khan has tested positive for coronavirus.

The spokesperson of Aamir Khan confirmed, “Mr. Aamir Khan has tested positive for COVID-19. He is at home in self-quarantine and he is doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern.”

Earlier, actor Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali had also tested positive for the virus this month.

The 56-year-old superstar last Monday announced his decision to leave social media and all the updates about his future projects will now be available on his production banner’s official account.

Aamir Khan is currently working on his film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, an official remake of Tom Hanks-starrer Forrest Gump, which is scheduled to release later this year.
