Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra artist Indramohan Rajbangshi has passed away at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on Wednesday morning.
BSMMU ICU Professor AKM Akhtaruzzaman confirmed the matter to Dhaka Post.
The legendary artist was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University on April 4. He was taken to the ICU after his condition deteriorated and he died there.
Indramohan Rajbangshi played a special role in the great liberation war of 1971 as an artist of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra.
He was famous for folk songs. He received the coveted Ekushey Padak in 2018 for his contribution to Folk music.
