Pakistan have managed to score 78 runs by losing two openers at lunch on day one in the second and final Test at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Saturday.

Taijul Islam made the breakthrough for Tigers as he removed both of the openers.

Taijul bowled Abdullah Shafique in the 19th over and later picked up in-form Abid Ali’s wicket in the 25th over.

Earlier, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has won the toss and elected to bat first against hosts Bangladesh.

Bangladesh have made three changes in their playing eleven from the first Test as opening batsman Mahmudul Hasan Joy makes his debut replacing Saif Hassan, who has been diagnosed with typhoid.

Pacer Khaled Hossain has replaced Abu Jayed Chowdhury Rahi and Shakib al Hasan has returned to the playing eleven.

Yasir Ali Rabbi, who had his debut in the first match at his hometown, has been dropped from the side.

Pakistan, however, kept their squad unchanged from the first match.
