Shakib leaves Dhaka for IPL

Shakib Al Hasan has left Dhaka for India to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He left for Kolkata on a US Bengal flight at 9:45 am on Saturday.

Wasim Khan, in charge of logistical support of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), confirmed the matter to Dhaka Post.

He said, “Shakib left for Kolkata on a US Bengal flight at 9:45 am today.”

The Kolkata Knight Riders picked up Shakib from the auction of the 14th edition of the IPL. Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan’s team has spent Rs 3 crore 20 lakh to get Tiger all-rounder back in the team.
