Tigers restricted to 124 by England

Bangladesh were restricted to 124 for 9 in their second Super 12 match of the T20 World Cup by England at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

No Bangladeshi batter can shine in the innings as Mushfiqur Rahim is the highest run-scorer for the Tigers with his steady 29 off 30.

The spectators have witnessed another poor batting display from the Bangladeshi batter. Both opener Liton Das and Mohammad Naim went to the pavilion in the same over by Moeen Ali.

Star allrounder Shakib Al Hasan, who reclaimed the top spot in the ICC T20I all-rounder rankings just a few hours before the match, was also unable to shine in the match as he returned for 4 off 7.

Mushfiq and Mahmudullah tried to rebuild the innings but their partnership was not good enough in that situation.

After that, Bangladesh lost wickets in regular intervals. At the end of the innings, Nasum Ahmed played some unorthodox shots which guide the Tigers to post 124-9 on the board. 

Earlier, Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah has won the toss and elected to bat first against England, who won the first match of Super 12 against West Indies.

Bangladesh, however, lost their first match of Super 12 against Sri Lanka.
