If we atone for our sins and Allah accepts them, our sins will be wiped out and we will be given a clean slate. Even our Holy Prophet, the best of mankind and Allah’s creations, constantly repented and sought the mercy and forgiveness of Allah.
“Repent and ask Allah for his forgiveness. I turn to Him in repentance 100 times a day.” Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Hadith 14

Make it a habit of being grateful. Be thankful to Allah for everything He has given you, and for what He has withheld from you. Because he knows best for His servants. We should look towards the grace and blessings He gives us every day, and the disasters He protects us from. Even a life spent of constant gratitude and worship of Allah can never exceed the blessings and goodness he gives us. As he says in the Quran:

Problems and difficulties are all part of our ultimate ordeal in this world, and most importantly, how we deal with them. Whatever hardships we experience in this world will be compensated in the next world, which we take a patient approach and endure a calm heart and an unwavering faith in Allah and His will.
Allah loves those who face disasters with patience and resilience, not despair and depression. We must believe in the fact that everything happens for good reason and believe in Him. Because He always wants good for his servant.
The great Prophet said, “Remember Him in prosperity, and He will remember you in adversity. Rest assured that what you missed shouldn’t hit you. And the ones that hit you never missed you. Remember that Allah’s help comes with patience, salvation comes after pain, prosperity follows adversity, and suffering continues easily.” Sahih Tirmidhi, book 1, hadith 62
For rewards in the next world and a safer passage through paradise. Whenever you feel that your hope and power are diminishing, look to Allah. Entrust Him with yourself and your suffering. Then He will never make you fail. Believe in Him. Then He will never leave you alone.

Allah loves people who are good to His creation. We are instructed to incorporate kindness into our day-to-day transactions with those around us and to act fairly against them. Kindness comes in all shapes and forms, helping your neighbors, doing a favor for your friends, helping those in need, etc.
The holy Prophet said, “Verily, Allah is kind and He loves kindness and bestows kindness which He does not give harshness and gives nothing but that (kindness).” Sahih Muslim, 2593
Allah also commands us to treat people fairly and equitably and give them full rights. The core element of being a decent and good person is to be a source of comfort and ease for those around you. And Allah likes his followers for kindness and justice.

All Muslims recognize the importance of daily prayers and their rewards. But there is one simple task that can increase your blessings and secure you a place in the Jannah. In addition to your daily prayers, recite Ayatul-Qursi after each Salah. It takes less than half a minute to recite, but the resulting rewards and blessings can last forever.
Forgiveness
Meaning: And hurry forgiveness from your Lord and to a paradise as great as heaven and earth prepared for those who remember Allah. Surah Ali 'Imran 3:133
Meaning: Those who donate wealth in prosperity and adversity, suppress their anger, and forgive others. And Allah loves the good-doers. Surah Ali 'Imran 3:134
Allah implores us to forgive, just as we want Him to forgive our mistakes. Anger, hatred and revenge cause not only pain and hurt for ourselves but also for those around us. There is nothing better than holding a grudge against those who have treated us. Instead of harboring anger towards a person, forgive him/her and have faith that people must respond to Allah and they will be treated accordingly. Forgiveness not only helps to purify the soul but also brings blessings from Allah.
Believe in Allah
Meaning: It is out of Allah’s mercy that you (O Prophet) have been lenient with them. If you were a cruel and heartfelt person, they would have left you. So forgive them. Ask them for Allah’s forgiveness. Trust Allah once you make a decision. Allah really loves those who trust him. Surah Ali 'Imran 3:159
Placing your complete trust in Allah is to transcend all words and rely on Him with all your heart and soul. Believing in Allah means you do whatever is within your control to pursue your life goals and at the same time have blind faith that whatever the future holds is our best interests and whatever the outcome. It is the Divine Will of the Almighty and it is what He has ordained.
“If all of you trust in Allah, He will surely provide you with provisions such as He gives the birds that starve in the morning and return full at dusk.” Sahih Tirmidhi, book 1, hadith 79
Having complete trust in Allah relieves you of anxiety, depression and feelings of helplessness because having faith in Him means leaving everything up to Him in the hope that He will not forsake you. Allah adores His servants who rely on Him, and Him alone.
We must constantly strive to do good deeds pleasing to Allah in order to draw closer to Him. We have a finite time in this world to do as much as we can to secure our place in the eternal happiness of Paradise.
