4 things to do upon hearing Adhan
Adhan (call to prayer) is an invitation to meet Allah through Salah. Adhan reminds believers of his duties in this world and enforces the connection between Salah and his future achievements in this world and hereafter.
Sarah is a great way to help us repent of our wrongdoing and to receive the blessings of Allah. Here are four things to do when you hear the Adhan:

Repeat the Adhan
Allah rewards those who repeat the Adhan after Muadhin. The Prophet Muhammad said, “When you hear Adhan, repeat what Muadhin says.” Imam Malik – Muwatta
Send blessings to Prophet Muhammad
Repeating Adhan not only receives the blessing of Allah but also ensures that the believer sends blessings to our beloved great Prophet Muhammad. The Prophet Muhammad said, “When you hear Muadhin asking for prayer, repeat his words and ask me for the blessing of Allah.” Muslim, 384
Reciting dua after the Adhan
It makes a lot of sense to recite the dua after the Adhan. “O Allah, Lord of this perfect calling and established prayer. Give Muhammad intercession and benefit, and raise him to the prestigious position you promised him [really you do not neglect your promise].” Al-Bukhari 1:152
Make a Dua between Adhan and Iqama
This is the time of Baraka, and Allah answers the prayers, so ask Allah for something during this time. The Holy Prophet said, “Repeat Muadhin’s words and when you’re done ask Allah what you want, and you’ll get it.” Abu Dawud, 524
Adhan is always a reminder that believers like us remember Allah. It also reminds us that he is always there for us, both good and bad times. Allah is the only one to rely on. Allah keeps us consistent in this practice of repeating the Adhan and in praying at the designated times.
