Janakantha Editor Atikullah Khan passes away

Veteran journalist, publisher, and Daily Janakantha editor Atikullah Khan Masud passed away at the age of 71 at the Evercare Hospital in the capital early Monday.

Janakantha staff reporter Monwar Hossain confirmed the information to Dhaka Post.

He fell sick at his house around 5:30 am. Later, he was taken to the hospital in the capital where doctors declared him dead.

Atikullah Khan first published Daily Janakantha on February 21, 1993.

Jatiya Party Chairman and Deputy Leader of the Opposition Golam Mohammad Quader, has expressed deep grief over the death of the veteran journalist Atikullah.
