After a long suspension forced by the COVID-19 pandemic, the regular flights of the Dhaka-Barishal route of Biman Bangladesh Airlines will resume on March 26.

Tahera Khandaker, Deputy General Manager of Biman Bangladesh Airlines confirmed the matter to Dhaka Post on Monday.

On the occasion of the golden jubilee of independence and the Mujib Year, Biman Bangladesh Airlines is going to resume the scheduled flights on the Dhaka-Barishal-Dhaka route again from March 26, said Tahera Khandaker.

She notified that passengers will be able to purchase tickets from the airline’s mobile apps, website, travel agent, tour operator, call center, and sales counter.

However, the last flight on this route was operated in March 2020.

Meanwhile, Biman said in another message that they are going to launch flights on the Chattogram-Sylhet-Chattogram route for the first time in the history of aviation from March 16.
