MP Aslamul Haque passes away

Aslamul Haque, Member of Parliament of Dhaka 14 constituency, has passed away at a hospital in the capital at around 12:00 pm on Sunday.

Aslamul Haque was elected as a Member of Parliament on December 29, 2008, in the 9th Parliamentary Election. At the same time, he served as a member of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism in Parliament.

He was re-elected as a Member of Parliament on January 5, 2014, in the 10th Parliamentary Election.

He is currently a member of the House Committee on Parliament and the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Religion.
