Offices to run with half manpower

The new directives by the government on Sunday asked the authorities concerned to run offices with half employees from January 24 to February 6.

To prevent COVID-19 transmission across the country, this is the latest directive by the government.

The Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard on Sunday night.

All government, semi-government, autonomous and private offices have been asked to operate with half of their staff in-person following health safety guidelines, while the rest will work virtually.

The Supreme Court will issue separate directives on running court activities during this period.

The Bangladesh Bank and the Financial Institutions Division will issue necessary directives for banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions to this end.
