5 killed in fire at Bogura plastic factory

At least five people were killed in a devastating fire at a plastic factory in Bogura’s Adamdighi upazila.

The fire originated around 11:45 am at the warehouse in the Shantahar area on Tuesday.

Bogura Fire Service and Civil Defense Deputy Assistant Director Md Abdul Malek confirmed the matter to Dhaka Post.

He said the fire was brought under control after over two and half hours of effort by 16 units of the fire service. Bodies of five persons were recovered.

However, the identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
