Demanding the release of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and ensuring her medical treatment abroad, the BNP will issue a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioners across the country on November 24.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir came up with the statement at a rally in front of the National Press Club on Monday.

“There are no more ways to speak. This government has failed in all aspects of running the state. We don’t have any other way except protest,” said Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

He further said that we will issue a memorandum demanding the release of the BNP chairperson and her treatment abroad on November 24. If it doesn’t work, then more and more strict movements will be announced.

He called upon all political parties to unite for the release of Khaleda Zia.

BNP standing committee members Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Nazrul Islam Khan, joint secretary general Khairul Kabir Khokon, organizing secretary Shama Obaid, BNP Dhaka South convener Abdus Salam, Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP convener Amanullah Aman, among others, were present at the program.
