Nipun receives first dose of COVID-19 vaccine

National Film Award-winning actress Nipun on Monday received the first dose of the vaccine against the COVID-19.

The actress herself confirmed the matter through her verified Facebook account on Monday afternoon.  

Nipun received the vaccine at the Sheikh Russel National Gastroliver Institute and Hospital in Mohakhali.

The actress thanked Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina after receiving the vaccine.

Meanwhile, coronavirus infection is on the rise again in the country. A total of 26 people died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours which is the highest number of deaths registered in a day in the last three months.
